Dr. James Dalla Riva
A native of Maryville, Illinois, Dr. James Dalla Riva graduated from Collinsville High School. He attended Creighton University; receiving a bachelor of science in Biology, earning Outstanding Student of the College of Arts and Science, as well as the Reinert Scholar Athlete award for his distinguished collegiate soccer career. Dr. Dalla Riva went on to earn his medical degree at Creighton and complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology there. After completion of his training, Dr. Dalla Riva returned to his hometown to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology; and has since been on staff at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois since 1994
He is the proud father of five daughters. In his free time, Dr. Dalla Riva enjoys hunting, fishing, exercising, and cheering on the St. Louis Blues!
Seeking to provide more comprehensive healthcare for women, Dr. Dalla Riva is a certified bone densitometrist. Dr. Dalla Riva’s office offers osteoporosis screening with the Dexa Scan. In addition, he employs a certified Sonographer who performs ultrasounds, with the ge. 3D ultrasound. In 2005, Dr. Dalla Riva sought to widen the scope of his practice to include laser therapy, as well, opening DALLA RIVA MEDICAL COSMETICS. Women can meet both their medical needs and cosmetics goals in an environment that is vitally concerned with providing excellent patient care.
